Common Purpose South Africa Programmes 2010

Common Purpose is a registered section 21 public benefit company that runs experiential learning programmes on leadership. The programmes are designed to engage and inspire the rising generations of leaders to shape the future of their city or community. Programmes provide successful applicants with an opportunity to access information and knowledge from a wide range of persons in leadership capacities and institutions they would normally not have access to. They build networks that enable them to influence positive change wherever they are long after their experience of the programme.

Benefits of the programmes:

  • Participants talk of unrivalled access to information, contacts and insights and greater clarity on how they could most effectively make their contribution.
  • Employers talk of returning candidates who are much better able to operate outside their own experience and sector, to handle new and unusual situations with confidence, to promote or embrace change, and to work with diverse teams.
