Boniswa Pezisa has just been elected Executive Chairperson BBDO
SA which includes 4 Marketing & Communication Companies, and a
board member Shinda Capital. She has worked in marketing positions
in big corporations and has extensive advertising experience in
both below- and above-the-line advertising.
She's Deputy Chair Person of the Association for Communication
& Advertising (ACA), sits the Advertising Standards Consumer
Complaints' Committee of the Advertising Standards Authority of
South Africa [ASASA]. Pezisa also sits on the advisory boards of
the Loeries Awards Company, NGOs: Common Purpose SA, Cape Town
Ballet Competition and The Dreamfields Project.
She is married with two children. Her hobbies are photography,
reading and listening to Jazz, when not doing home-work or
finger-painting with her little children. She holds an
under-graduate certificate in Management and Advanced Programme
(MAP) with WITS Business School and is completing a Thesis for the
MBA.
